TOWARDS THE ARCHETYPES

INSPIRATION FOR THIS TRAINING



In the fall of 2008 the first training Towards the Archetypes took place on Crete. Participants and trainers were impressed by the deep processes that happened. The combination of ancient culture, the beauty and power of nature together with the transformational work that we carried out touched us all: food for the soul. We feel inspired to organise this training again in the late spring of 2010 when the flowers are blooming. The program will contain some new elements, in line with the season, the group and the inspiration of the moment.

The Enagron estate, where we will stay, is situated in a valley near the village Axos on the foothills of mount Ida. Axos has a history of more than 3500 years. There are the remnants of the old city, like the Acropolis, to which there is free access. In the immediate vicinity there are the ruins of the temple of Aphrodite and the cave where according to mythology Zeus was born. Imagine the many archeological sites in the area, the beautiful nature everywhere around and you are starting to get the picture.

The Enagron estate is a large ecological project, initiated by a very inspired husband and wife team of whom the woman is architect and the husband economist, from the village Axos. There is wild vegetation as well as cultivated land, like orchards, a wine yard, a large vegetable garden and there are many animals like sheep and chickens. All this provides the ranch with the necessary biological products. The work is carried out by local inhabitants.

The training/retreat is aimed at deepening by the exploration of the archetypal contents of our psyche. Archetypes are the roots and source of inspiration of our work.

FOR WHOM

This training is organised for people who have a working knowledge and experience of the Voice Dialogue process.

Goals are finding new insights and inspiration for yourself and in your work, the expansion and refinement of your facilitation skills and deepening your profession.

Please contact the ITP office if you have questions about your level of competence. The maximum number of participants is 20.

FOCUS OF THE TRAINING

Underlying focus As is always the case, our primary focus is on the all-round development of each participant. In addition, the week has a retreat format with emphasis on personal deepening by working with archetypes, dreams and Energetics.



The Archetypes

Working with archetypal energy patterns goes beyond the work on the personal level. A deeper layer in our psyche will get activated and the movement of energy will increase. We will work with Voice Dialogue, but also with creative techniques such as dance, movement, mask making, rituals. We will visit archeologically and psychologically interesting sites, such as the Cretan labyrinth and different temples. Special places in nature will play a role. As a guide a professor from the university of Crete will accompany us in the field of mythology.

THE VENUE

Enagron

We are happy with the splendid location of the Enagron estate. There are comfortable maisonettes, scattered within the estate, characterized by their traditional architecture using natural materials. There is a nice swimming pool for refreshing moments. You can explore the countryside with donkeys and horses. The regional kitchen is biological and most products such as olive oil, cheese, vegetables and wine are produced on the estate.

Life on Crete

We will lavish ourselves on the Greek life, a slowing down of time, away from the daily routines in a special environment where being together, the meeting, interaction and exchange with one another will be a source of inspiration and lead to new insights.

TRAINERS

The training will be led by Robert Stamboliev, Maria Daniëls and Margreet Renkers from the ITP and Franca Errani from Italy. We are happy with the collaboration with Franca on this project. Franca set up the Voice Dialogue work in Italy and has made a study about the archetypes recently.

The chapter Archetypes from The Energetics of Voice Dialogue by Robert Stamboliev will give a theoretical basis.
